1. Purpose of the collection of data, categories of personal data:

Applying online for a job offered by Uhlmann Group requires you to enter certain personal data (such as title, first and last name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number, full application) marked as mandatory fields in the online application form. In addition to the information in the mandatory fields, you have the possibility to voluntarily provide further personal data (date of birth, additional phone number, nationality and other remarks). In order to be able to process your application purposefully and consider your application, it is possible to voluntarily submit even more information, such as information on your professional career and documents for a personal cover letter (e.g. qualifications, CV, certificates or the like).

Applicants' data is collected, processed and used for the purpose of selecting potential employees. As soon as an employment relationship has been established (e.g. by starting work), the employees' data will be used so that the employer's obligations vis-à-vis the employees can be fulfilled. The same applies for any legal obligations vis-à-vis government agencies - e.g. in respect of social security contributions.

By submitting your particulars, you simultaneously agree that Uhlmann Group may process and use your data in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. The data provided in the online application form and the electronic files attached to it will only be transmitted to Uhlmann Group after you have given your consent to the collection, processing and use of your data in accordance with this privacy policy by activating the checkbox.

2. Legal basis for processing:

Articles 6 paragraph 1 a) and b) DSGVO [general data protection regulation] form the legal basis for the permissible processing of data.

The provision of personal data by the applicant is necessary for the conclusion of a contract. Particulars that were not required for the fulfilment of the contract were provided on a voluntary basis. If applicants are interested in working for the responsible person, they are obliged to provide the necessary personal data for processing their request/interest. A failure to provide their data could possibly result in their application not being taken into account.

3. Storage of data, use of data and deletion of data

The data and files submitted by you will be processed and used exclusively for the purpose of processing your online application. Insofar as your application is successful, this data and these files will be processed further and used by Uhlmann Group within the scope of the employment relationship. If the application for a job is not successful, Uhlmann Group will store the submitted data and files in the applicant database for a period of six months in order to be able to answer questions about the application later on. After expiry of six months, the data and files will be deleted irrevocably. It is possible to withdraw the application at any time. As a result of the withdrawal of the application, your data and files in the applicant database will be deleted immediately subject to the limitations below. Furthermore, within the scope of the application, you may request at any time that the individual data or files submitted by you be deleted. However, Uhlmann Group reserves the right to store a restricted amount of your data for a limited period of six months in order to be able to comply with legal provisions, in particular the obligation to produce proof arising from the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

4. Data security

Through technical and organisational safety precautions corresponding to the current state-of-the-art technology, Uhlmann Group makes sure that your personal data is protected against unauthorised data interference such as loss of data, destruction, intentional manipulation or access by unauthorised third parties. In particular, the data and files are transmitted in encrypted form for processing (SSL encryption).

5. Data dissemination and transmission

Your personal data is accessible for the respective persons responsible at Uhlmann Group and, in individual cases, will be made available to the management personnel of the respective department seeking employees.

The data and files transmitted by you on the basis of the online application will not be transmitted by Uhlmann Group to third parties unless you have previously given your explicit consent to the transmission or there is a legal obligation for the transmission. Authorities or other governmental institutions only receive information within the scope of the legal duty to provide information or on the basis of a court decision.

6. Right to information and rights of the persons affected:

All applicants are entitled to obtain information - at any time and free of charge - about the respective personal data stored by the company. You receive information about your personal data, origin, recipients and the purpose of the collection and processing of the data.

Every applicant can demand the deletion, restriction of processing and correction of their data. You also have the right to object to your data being processed as well as the right to data portability. In the event of unlawful data processing or failure to fulfil the requests of the persons affected, for example the request for information, the persons affected additionally have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.
