Uhlmann Group Achieves Record Revenue in Fiscal Year 2024/25

The group surpasses the half-billion-euro revenue mark for the first time in the 2024/25 fiscal year.
Laupheim, September 3, 2025. The Uhlmann Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of packaging solutions, reached an important strategic milestone in the 2024/25 fiscal year: For the first time, the Group generated total revenue of 504 million euros, representing a 9 percent increase in revenue compared to the previous year. The Uhlmann Group comprises Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, KOCH Pac-Systeme, Goldfuß Engineering (based in Germany), Cremer Speciaalmachines (Netherlands), Wonder Packing Machinery (China), and Axito (Poland). The Group’s companies and their sales and service subsidiaries are now present at 23 locations in 18 countries worldwide. Together, they support customers in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods, food, and agricultural sectors with a broad range of high-tech packaging machines, services, and digital solutions.
Prof. Matthias Niemeyer, CEO of the Uhlmann Group, says: “Despite the highly challenging geopolitical environment of recent years and adverse conditions in Germany, we have achieved healthy growth. This has demonstrated the value of our approach to fostering close, trusting relationships with our customers, suppliers, and partners. Our approach of consolidating central functions, establishing shared structures, and strengthening synergies between the Group companies is also paying off. Without the outstanding commitment of our employees, their knowledge, and their expertise, we would not have achieved this important strategic goal so quickly.”
Group Strengthens Resilience and Sustainability
By expanding their local presence through sales and service capabilities as well as local-for-local solutions, the Group Companies intensified their international market development and expanded local value creation. Through the consistent expansion of the product portfolio—for example, in the area of modular cartoning solutions with a highly integrated, innovative software suite—the Group strengthened its own economic foundation. More efficient project management and strict cost discipline across the individual Group Companies sustainably increased productivity and thus the Group’s profitability. A solid order intake, coupled with record revenue, also led to strong operating cash flow in fiscal year 2024/25.
To further strengthen the Group’s resilience in a volatile environment and achieve its ambitious growth and productivity goals, significant investments are being made in research and the application of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence. In fiscal year 2024/25, the R&D ratio stood at 6.3 percent. The Uhlmann Group is consistently implementing its climate strategy to reduce CO2 emissions. The order backlog and new orders received by the Group Companies also point to a continued positive trend for the current fiscal year.
